Project Overview:
The Space Planning & Suite Refresh project at AdventHealth Cancer Institute focused on the renovation and optimization of Suites 381, 382, and 389 to establish specialized clinics for Breast Surgery, Head & Neck and Melanoma Sarcoma, Genetics, and Gastroenterology (GI). This initiative required a seamless transition of staff and equipment while ensuring the new spaces met operational needs. My role focused on project coordination and logistical execution, supporting the project’s success through stakeholder collaboration, scheduling, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Scheduled, coordinated, and facilitated project meetings to ensure clear communication between departments.
Acted as the primary liaison between construction teams, administrative staff, and leadership to align on project deliverables.
Managed space planning efforts to optimize layouts for efficiency, accessibility, and workflow.
Coordinated staff relocations to minimize disruption while ensuring continued department functionality.
Arranged and supervised the moving process, including furniture, equipment, and documentation transfers.
Tracked project progress, ensuring that construction timelines and operational needs remained aligned.
Maintained and distributed key project documentation, ensuring all stakeholders had the necessary resources.
Assisted in troubleshooting space utilization challenges, adjusting plans as necessary to support operational needs.
